Description:
The Dunes Summer Theatre of Michigan City, Indiana, announces auditions for its 2024 summer productions, which include BLITHE SPIRIT by Noel Coward; TALLEY'S FOLLY by Lanford Wilson, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY (book by Marsha Norman, music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown), the 4th Annual Broadway Cabaret, and the 2nd annual New Plays Festival. Auditions will be held at the following locations:
February 3, 2024, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Holdcraft Center, 1200 Spring Street, Michigan City;
February 10 and 11, 2024, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Saturday) and 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Sunday) at City Lit Theatre, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr, Chicago
The Dunes is a non-Equity professional theater; actors are paid $100 per rehearsal week and $50 per performance; housing is also provided.
Auditioners should prepare two contrasting monologues of no more than three minutes in total length, actors interested in musical productions should also prepare 32 bars each of two contrasting musical selections.
