Lazy Susan Theatre Co. is seeking actors for Hannah Loessberg's original full length play "Madam & Steve" directed by Cleo Flores.

'Madam & Steve' - is a captivating 90-minute comedy that reimagines the biblical tale of creation from a fresh perspective. This fantastical world is a reimagining of the creation story as if the woman was created first. On the 7th day, God rests...and by rests we mean, none of the characters can reach him anymore. Left to their own devices, these characters try just about anything to get God's attention back. The characters fight over how many times they have retold this story, who is in charge now that God is unreachable, and if humans even deserve to be on earth at all.

Anyone and everyone is encouraged to audition!

Auditions will be held in person at The Greenhouse Theater Center on February 10th from 12pm-8pm.

Characters:

Madam- the queen bee, the first human, entitled, sassy, powerful

Steve- the first man, nerdy, insecure, lacks self-awareness

SeaSea- the wisest, controller of the water and the moon, matronly

Eden- guardian of the land, sweet, loyal, trustworthy

Flux- a shapeshifter, can turn into any animal, very sassy

Adam- the alpha version of Steve, a true dude, charismatic, God's favorite

Eve- the alpha version of Madam, a little ditzy, traditional, bubbly

God- not your mom's God, stubborn, snide, ill-natured, hostile
