Description:
MadKap seeks singers, dancers and actors of all ethnicities and orientations to audition for its upcoming season. We seek a wide age range of voices and types and will cast with diversity in keeping with the show's intent
GREASE. Directed and Choreographed by Ty Perry, with Music Direction by Jeremy Ramey, and produced by Wendy Kaplan, performances are June 23, 2024 through July 28, 2024. Rehearsals begin on April 29, 2024. Rehearsals are Monday - Thursday evenings, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm in Skokie.
SOUTH PACIFIC. Directed by Pat Henderson and Choreographed by Brenda Good, with Music Direction by Jeremy Ramey, and produced by Wendy Kaplan, performances are September 7, 2024 through October 6, 2024. Rehearsals begin on in late July. Rehearsals are Monday - Thursday evenings, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm in Skokie.
MadKap seeks young adults of all genders and diversities:
There is a stipend of $400. We will be looking for a dance captain amidst the cast which will increase the stipend.
Auditions are April 1, 2024 (no kidding) 6:30pm-10:00pm, with callbacks April 3, 3024. We are auditioning in person. If you'd like to send a video, that's acceptable but it must be received by April 1, 2024 and you must be available for Callbacks on April 3, 2024 at 6:30 pm.
Please prepare 1 minute from a Broadway Musical. Accompaniment will be provided. Please bring sheet music marked, and in your key. Please have a second option, if asked. No acapella, please.
