Elizabeth Thatcher (High Alto with Strong Belt and Mix):
The daughter of a very affluent merchant, Ephraim Thatcher. Her mother was married once before and widowed. Her older brother Jonathan is about 10 years older, and a half-brother through that previous marriage. Jonathan left home to pursue business in Calgary and western Canada when Elizabeth was still young and they kept in contact as they were able via written letters over the years. Elizabeth's younger sister Julie is her closest friend. Elizabeth is a very independent young lady, and very focused on her career as a teacher. She has been raised to believe that she can do anything she sets her mind to do and has been given the best education available in Toronto. Her family are devout Christians and are well respected in the church and the community. She finds herself longing for more, but she is not sure what that would even mean. She feels a bit guilty for feeling so restless and discontent because she knows she has been given so much to be thankful for.

Some details of a Blue Gate Musicals contract include:
- A pay rate of $300 per week with an average of 6 shows a week (non-negotiable rate due to transparency policy)
- free housing, food, utilities and wifi
- comp tickets
- pool/hot tub and workout facilities available
- shows have an average of 10 cast members; all tracks are for actor/ singer/ movers
