Description:
Come be a part of Overshadowed's first annual Shakespeare in the Park hosted by the Itasca Park District this summer on August 17th (we will be doing two performances that day). We will be performing (in Shakespearean verse of course!) two abridged plays: Comedy of Errors and Much Ado About Nothing. This show will be performed as a troupe of actors presenting both of the abridged plays which means everyone in the 'troupe' will have a role in one or both of the plays.
Overshadowed is a faith-based production company that performs quality family-friendly entertainment that is both inspiring and affordable.
Performers will need to commit to at least 9 rehearsals before the tech week, one of the tech rehearsals, and of course the final rehearsal the morning of the show. Rehearsals are generally in the evening with a few Saturday morning or afternoon rehearsals.
Rehearsals will be held at 900 E. Foster Ave, Medinah, IL 60157.
The performance date is August 17th. We will be performing early afternoon and again early evening.
