Description:
MagiCorps is auditioning for Non-Equity actors and accepting play submissions for our Theatre Festival this Fall, running September 17 to October 20th.
An SGL BIPOC-run organization, MagiCorps welcomes all artists from diverse experiences and backgrounds committed to amplifying BIPOC stories in the City of Chicago.
MagiCorps will feature selected playwright works for Full Staged Readings and incorporate select scenes in a compilation MainStage production. Actors, Playwrights, Directors, and Production Team members are encouraged to apply!
Festival Theme: "Blessed and Highly Flavored"
Pay: Actors $500 Stipend + 3% Ticket Sales for Mainstage. $100 per Staged Reading, additional roles please review the form for pay breakdown.
Staged Readings, 3-day process - Read-through & rehearsal, Dress Rehearsal, Performance.
MainStage Production, 3-week rehearsal process starting September 16th. Weekend performances will be from October 4 - October 20th.
