Project Title | Perfect Pie |
Description:
Set in rural Ontario, Perfect Pie follows the revisitation of the childhood friendship between two women; one who chose to stay in her hometown and the other who chose to escape. As they recollect their past, the story of the girls at both ten and fifteen drives inexorably forward to the same event which scarred and shaped the lives of the adult women. When the past meets the present, a catharsis is achieved forcing the women to re-examine their life's decisions.
Seeking:
Patsy - (40-50 years old) A simple but not unintelligent woman who resides in her hometown of Marmora, Ontario. She suffers from chronic seizures since "the accident" happened.
Francesca - (40-50 years old) Formerly known as "Marie", Patsy's childhood best friend. She has escaped her rural home and has found success as an actress in New York. She is returning to Ontario for a Gala in honor of her newest film. Survives by running away.
Patsy (Young) - (18+ TPY) Patsy aged 8-16. An average girl in Marmora, not too popular but not disliked. Befriends the new girl in town, Marie Begg. Role requires a large acting range, as the story of the younger children spans many years.
