Description:
AlphaBet Soup Productions, Professional TYA, is seeking actors for our 2024-25 Season! Productions include: Elephant & Piggie's: We Are In A Play! (Oct-Mar), The Christmas That Almost Wasn't (Dec), The Jungle Book (Jan-Mar) and Beauty and the Beast (Apr-Jul).
The majority of our performances are weekday mornings at 10:30am and occasional Saturdays. Daytime availability is a must. Having your own transportation is encouraged but not required. Shows typically rehearse for 8-10 days between 9a-3p at the ABS Production Office in Lombard.
Performances will be held at various venues throughout the Chicagoland area including: Tivoli Theatre (Downers Grove), Jedlicka Performing Arts Center (Cicero), Philip Lynch Theatre (Romeoville), Menker Theatre (Palos Hills), Metropolis Performing Arts Center (Arlington Heights) and more.
Seeking adult professional actors/singers of all types. No performers under 18 are being seen at this time.
All positions are paid (rehearsal stipend + per show pay)
AUDITION DATE:
Audition: Wed. August 21 (11-4p) at the ABS Production Office - 309 S Westmore-Meyers Rd. Lombard, IL
Callbacks: Fri. August 23 (10a-2p) at the ABS Production Office
Rehearsals: 8-10 days at the ABS Production Office (generally two weeks prior to opening)
Tech: 2 days prior to the first performance at the Menker Theatre (Palos Hills)
