Theo is accepting video submissions for our 2025 spring & summer productions: Tell Me on a Sunday & Diana.
Tell Me on a Sunday is the one-woman song cycle that later became the first act of Andrew Lloyd Webber's celebrated Song & Dance. Directed by Keely Vasquez; Music Directed by Evelyn Ryan; Choreography and Associate Directed by Jenna Schoppe
Theo's production of Diana will be the Midwest Premiere of the Broadway musical about the Princess of Wales, which was also filmed for Netflix. Co-Directed by Fred Anzevino; Co-Directed & Choreographed by Brenda Didier; Music Directed by Carolyn Brady; Associate Music Direction by Kevin Zhou
Character Type/Restrictions:
Theo is committed to casting our productions in a way that reflects our community and therefore encourages performers of all genders, ages (18+), ethnicities and identities to submit! For gender-fluid and non-binary performers, any genders listed in character descriptions are that of the character only, and you are encouraged to submit for any roles you are interested in! For Diana, we are not limiting ourselves to only performers who resemble the real-life historical figures; we are open to all types!
TELL ME ON A SUNDAY
-Emma (F3 - E5) is a young English girl who has recently landed in New York. Brimming with optimism, she sets out to seek success, companionship and, of course, love. Open to femme performers of all genders and ethnicities, 18+. Open to making key adjustments for the right performer.
-Will also be casting an alternate with guaranteed performances.
DIANA
-Diana (Soprano/Belt G3-D5) A young school teacher trying to find her way in the world. Will become the next Royal Princess.
-Prince Charles (Tenor C3-A4) Regal and educated, old beyond his years. Torn between his actual love and the girl he's meant to marry. -Queen Elizabeth (Mezzo/Alto G3-Bb5) Royal monarch and mother. Doesn't suffer fools, sense of duty. Doubles as Barbara Cartland, novelist and Diana's step-grandmother.
-Camilla (Mezzo/Sop C#4-Db5) The love of the prince, the one who orchestrates his and Diana's relationship. Later to be the rival of Diana.
-James Hewitt (High Tenor E3-B4) Diana's lover, handsome and built. Cool and confident.
-Citizens of England: strong dancers, vocal ranges bass to soprano. Includes featured roles of Sarah Spencer (Diana's Sister), Paul Burrell (Butler), Colin (Secretary), Andrew (Author), Patients, Member of the Press & more.
