Description:
Oil Lamp Theater is seeking submissions for strong comedic actors for its productions of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield directed by J.T. Nagle. The show will run from January 23 - February 23. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm; Saturdays and Sundays at 3pm; Wednesdays January 29 & February 12 at 11am and 3pm and February 5 and 19 at 7:30pm.
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)
An irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard's plays, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)...weaves through all of Shakespeare's Comedies, Histories and Tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter (Reduced Shakespeare Company).
Specifically seeking a diverse cast of 3 actors. All races, ethnicities, genders, and ages are encouraged to apply.
Auditions will be Monday, September 23, 7:00-10:00pm. They will be held at the theater which is located at 1723 Glenview Road, Glenview, IL.
Callbacks are by invitation only and will be held on Sunday, September 29th beginning at 7:00pm.
Compensation will be $1050.
Rehearsals will begin Monday, December 2 and are typically held from 7:00-10:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am-1:00pm until tech which begins on Saturday, January 18.
