Description:
he Lark is a concert that honors the clear-eyed vision and courage of Joan of Arc. The concert's second half will consist of Leonard Bernstein's music for Lillian Hellman's adaptation of The Lark, in conversation with monologues from the play.
Seeking femme-presenting actors to portray JOAN (14-19), a young woman of intense faith and courage. Determined, intelligent, direct, brave. Able to read people and respond to their moods almost instantly. Clever, but not superior.
PRODUCTION DATES
Dress Rehearsal: October 28, 2024 @ 7:00-9:00 pm (708 W. Belmont Ave. Chicago)
Performance: November 1, 2024 @ 7:30 pm (3905 N. Lincoln Ave. Chicago)
Performance: November 2, 2024 @ 7:00 pm (924 Lake St. Oak Park, IL)
PAY: $150, paid at final performance
