ROLES NEEDED:
Alfred Hitchcock
Norman Bates
Tippi Hedren
PREPARATION A monologue will be supplied for video audition of the character you are auditioning for. ALFRED HITCHCOCK: M, 40-65 To be performed as the classic "Hitch" 1950's TV personality persona style. Original monologue. Introduces the evening to all. Physical resemblance is secondary to droll macabre wit, British intonations, self-amusement. Style and presentation similar to 'Psycho' movie teaser, available for viewing on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTJQfFQ40lI&ab_channel=RottenTomatoesClassicTrailers). NORMAN BATES: M, 25-45 Scene lifted directly from 1960 'Psycho' - motel check in and supper with Marion Crane (pre-cast). No violence. This scene is done straight with no comedic undertones. All-American, slightly shy, charming. Physical resemblance to Anthony Perkins less important than tone, style, presentation. TIPPI HEDREN F, 20s Hitchcock blonde. Elegant comedic style. In scene with Alfred Hitchcock, introducing the evening. Panicky/comic warning about the coming of the birds. Will likely have to interact with audience at scene end - some meet/greet comedy ad lib style a plus.
