Towle Theater seeks strong singer/actors 21 years old and up for its upcoming productions of The Mad Ones Directed by Dion Stover; Musical Direction by John Phillips and Potus: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive Directed by Shellee Frazee All ethnicities, gender identities and ages 21 and up are strongly encouraged to audition. Performance Dates listed below. All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Towle Theater 5205 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN.

Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL 60657. South side of Belmont, between Lakewood and Racine. Located just a few blocks west of the Belmont Red/Brown/Purple stop also accessible via the #77 Belmont bus.

Show Description(s):
The Mad Ones - 18-year-old Samantha Brown is caught between a yearning for the unknown and feeling bound by expectation, she telescopes back to a time before her world had fallen apart. As she relives her senior year, we meet Sam's well-intentioned helicopter mother Bev and her high school sweetheart of a boyfriend Adam, but it's her memories of her best friend Kelly that haunt her. When Kelly is killed in a car wreck, Sam loses not only her best friend but also the part of herself that was learning to be brave.Will she follow her mother's dreams for her, or will she summon the courage to drive away from her friends and family into a future she can't imagine?
POTUS - When a White House PR nightmare spins into a legit sh*tshow, seven brilliant and beleaguered women must risk life, liberty, and the pursuit of sanity to keep the commander-in-chief out of trouble. The show is an irreverent look at sex, politics and the women in charge of the man in charge. Who knew that a global crisis is always just a four-letter word away.
Pay: $450
The Mad Ones: Rehearsals will begin at the end of January 2025 (max 3-4 rehearsals per week except tech week). Performance Dates are February 28, March 1, 2, 7-9, 2025. All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Towle Theater in Hammond, IN. *The first music rehearsal for The Mad Ones will be all day on Sat, January 18th 10 am - 9pm. Performance times: Matinees at 2pm. Evenings 7:30 pm
Potus: Rehearsals will begin March 22, 2025 (max 3-5 rehearsals per week except tech week). Performance Dates are May 2-4, 9-11. All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Towle Theater in Hammond, IN.
Mad Ones - Please prepare 16-32 bars of an uptempo and ballad in the style of the show. You may only sing one song, however please have a contrasting piece ready if asked. Provide sheet music in the correct key. No acapella or taped accompaniment. You may be asked to read from the script.
POTUS - Please prepare a 1-2 min comedic monologue. You may be asked to read from the script.
