The Village Follies is seeking actors, singers, and dancers for our annual revue, "Mysteries, Myths, & Mayhem: A Follies Fantasy!" Village Follies is a subchapter of Winnetka's Community House, a 501(c)(3) organization. All proceeds raised from our yearly production are donated to the Community House to be used for educational and community programming.

The Village Follies has been a part of the Community House for over 50 years and have entertained countless audiences with our annual variety show which showcases songs, dances, and comedic sketches arranged around an overarching theme. Regardless if you're a seasoned veteran or if this is your first time onstage, we are an inclusive group that welcomes all and would love to work with you! We do ask that all performers be at least 18 years of age or older.

All rehearsals and performances will be held at the Community House Details You are welcome to audition for any or all of our performance categories (acting, singing, dancing). For acting/sketch comedy auditions, you will not need to prepare a monologue; we will have sides prepared for you. Should you wish to participate in the dance portion of the audition, please wear comfortable clothes/shoes for movement. For singing auditions, please choose any song that best showcases your voice. Accompaniment will be available if needed. This is a non-equity production; no headshot or resume is needed, but if you have one, please feel free to bring it. This is a non-paying position. Rehearsals will begin January 4, 2025 at the Community House and rehearsals will be held on Saturdays (9:00am-1:00pm), Sundays, (1:00pm-4:00pm), and Wednesdays (6:00pm-9:00pm). Please note, based on casting/rehearsal scheduling, you may not be required to attend all three time slots.
