About the Play:
Set in the outfield bleachers of Chicago's beloved Wrigley Field, "Bleacher Bums" is a slice-of-life comedy about a group of devoted (and sometimes dysfunctional) Cubs fans. Over the course of a single game, this passionate bunch cheers, jeers, and banters their way through a rollercoaster of emotions-hope, despair, and joy-all while navigating personal quirks and relationships. It's a love letter to baseball, camaraderie, and the unique community of fans who make it all so special. Whether you're a baseball buff or simply love great character-driven comedy, "Bleacher Bums" will have you laughing, reminiscing, and rooting for the underdogs!
Audition Details:
Date: Tuesday, January 7th and Wednesday, January 8th
Time: 6:30-9:00 pm

No experience? No problem! All levels are welcome.
We encourage individuals of all gender identities and expressions to audition for any role. Everyone is welcome in our bleachers!
Roles Available:
Zig: The die-hard Cubs fan and self-appointed leader of the bleacher crew. Passionate and optimistic, but occasionally overbearing.
Greg: The intellectual among the group, always armed with stats and facts. He's analytical and sometimes a bit nerdy.
Decker: A loud and opinionated gambler who's constantly placing bets on the game-and everything else.
Melody: A sweet, daydreaming fan who loves the game for the beauty of it. Often the voice of reason.
Cheerleader: The energetic and enthusiastic fan who never lets the crowd's spirits dip-sometimes to the annoyance of others.
Richie: A quiet, gentle soul who comes to the games for a sense of belonging. A true Cubs devotee.
Marvin: The outspoken, overly pessimistic fan who is hilariously blunt and often contrary.
Rose: A savvy and sharp-witted fan who brings a no-nonsense attitude and has a warm heart underneath.
Various Vendors and Fans: Colorful, memorable characters who add vibrancy to the atmosphere.
