The Home Creative Co. is holding auditions for Heathers The Musical
Auditions - In-Person (Open Audition): Sunday January 19th from 4pm - 8pm at the Elgin Art Showcase 164 Division St, Elgin IL 60120 . Please read the information below.
-Prepare 32 bars of an audition song in the style of Heathers: the Musical.
-An accompanist will NOT be provided. Bring your phone (or alternative device) to play your track from. Your device must be compatible with Lightning , USB-C, AUX, or Bluetooth for audio output.
-Please prepare a short monologue from the document attached here.
-There will not be a dance audition.
Video submissions will be accepted. All video submissions are due by 8pm Sunday January 19th. Follow the steps below if you need to submit a video audition.
-Fill out the audition form
-Submit the video as either a direct YouTube or Google Drive link to thehomecreativeco@gmail.com. Make sure your video is public or thehomecreativeco@gmail.com has viewing access to it.

Character Descriptions: Heathers Character Descriptions
Callbacks - In-Person (Invitation Only): Tuesday January 21st from 6:30pm - 10pm at the Elgin Art Showcase 164 Division St, Elgin IL 60120.
Rehearsals: Begin the week of January 27th with 2 - 4 rehearsals a week dependent on cast member availability, rehearsals will all be in the Downtown Elgin area.
Tech Week: March 17th - 20th at 5:30pm - 10pm
Performances: March 21, 22, 28, 29 @7pm and March 23 & 30 @3pm
Production Content Warning: This production contains themes of mental illness, explicit language, graphic and lewd sexual behavior, homophobia, stalking/harassment, eating disorders, fatphobia, drug/alcohol use, and death. The production will have an intimacy coordinator and cast advocate to ensure cast members feel safe and comfortable with all content listed above.
