Description:

Alphabet Soup Productions is expanding and hiring an experienced stage manager and ASM. Candidates will be available for all production meetings, running of rehearsals and be responsible for load in, the production, and load out. Both positions are morning positions with load in at 8:30 am, curtain at 10 am, and load out at 12:30 pm. There is not a load out everyday. Oftentimes ABS is in the same venue multiple days.

The stage manager position pays $60-$75 per show based on applicants' experience. SM will be responsible for truck pick up and delivery of sets, costumes and props to the 8 different theatres in the southwest and western suburbs. The ASM position pays $50-$60 based on experience. ASM will run sound and assist with load in and and load out. Both positions require excellent interpersonal skills with performers and staff alike. Each candidate must be highly organized and able to hit the ground running.
