Oakton College is holding auditions for Indecent. Directed by Jason Fleece
A deeply moving play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel, inspired by the true events surrounding the controversial 1923 Broadway debut of Sholem Asch's God of Vengeance-a play seen by some as a seminal work of Jewish culture, and by others as an act of traitorous libel, Indecent charts the history of an incendiary drama and the path of the artists who risked their careers and lives to perform it.

Four males, 20 - 60; three females, 20 - 60
Audition Location: Oakton College: 1600 East Golf Road, Des Plaines, Il 60016
Rehearsals will be weeknights and some weekend days. Performances are March 27 - April 6, Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
Please prepare 32 bars of any "standard," folk ballad, or bar song and benprepared to read from the script.
