Summary
Alvy Singer and Annie Hall used to be a couple. They broke up but they are still attracted to one another. Annie calls Alvy for an emergency, that is there is a spider is in her bathroom, while Alvy is with a date. Alvy rushes to Annie's place and the scene starts. It's all an excuse to call Alvy to her place. He breaks down in tears and confesses that she misses him.
