Summary
Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrel) is a sensational NASCAR race car driver who dominates every race together with his childhood friend Cal Naughton Jr. (John C. Reilly) who always ends up at the # 2 position. When a French race car driver, Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen), challenges him for the # 1 spot, he is put to test. He eventually gets in an accident and enters a state of depression, leaves professional racing, moves back in with his mother and becomes a pizza delivery guy. By chance, one night he meets his old assistant, Susan (Amy Smart), and the two have a drink together.
When Ricky Bobby tells her he doesn't want to race professionally anymore, Susan loses it and tells him why he should go back being a professional driver, "Ricky Bobby is not a thinker, he is a driver, he is a doer!...."

And here you sit, thinking. Well, Ricky Bobby is not a thinker, Ricky Bobby is a driver. He is a doer. And that's what you need to do. You don't need to think, you need to drive, you need speed....."
