Tanika Cherè is an Actor, Commercial Model and AMTC Graduate who has performed on stage since the age of 12. Winning local talent shows, she was also 1st Runner Up in the “Miss Indiana Black Expo Pageant”, and was published in the First Edition of "Who's Who in Black Indianapolis” a publication that seeks to celebrate the achievements of African-American men and women who have made their mark in specific occupations or service to others in the Indianapolis community.
For several years Tanika was a model for “Shades of Elegance” and a mentor for “Today’s Youth." She was also a volunteer for (TNT) Teens in Training, where she taught their youth drama and poetry. Tanika later landed the lead role in a dramatic stage play entitled “Momma You’ve Let Us See Too Much,” where she performed at the Historical Paul Robeson Theatre. She also was cast as lead in VTV Productions, “Not All Men Are Dogs.”
Currently, Tanika has a lead role in the theatrical production of “RAIN” and her desire is to work in television and film.
