I have been singing for 6 years and acting for 3. I began acting in Grade 10, and my first ever play was the musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, called Once More With Feeling, performed by my musical theatre class. I was given the role of Buffy, and was faced with an immense challenge that I loved and fully immersed myself in. Since then, I have played Lucy in Dracula, Madame Giry in the Phantom of the Opera and Vi, the preacher's wife in Footloose and a number of other characters. I haven't taken any dance lessons, but I have danced in most of the musicals I've done, our musical theatre did dacne technique classes and starting in September I will be in dance classes. I plan on taking musical theatre for university and eventually going into art and music therapy, but I'm not going into school quite yet, as I'm taking a year off. My dramatic plans for this next year include auditioning for Westside Story at Festival Place and Little Shop of Horrors in Fort Saskatchewan. I'm also going to continue with voice lessons, participate in a rock music show and take up dance and possibly guitar lessons, as well as auditioning for anything that comes my way!
