CMIC Media was started in 2005 in Columbus, Ohio to be a production house for the film written and produced by the CEO Craig Z. Short. With his 15 yrs of experience in video production and a college degree in broadcasting specializing in Media Productions from Ohio Center For Broadcasting he formed the company. In early June of 2006 the company produced “Gangsta 2 Disciple” a feature film about a drug dealer going to kill a Pastor, mixing real life with a message to change the heart. This project then was screened in front of 130 people in a theatre called “The Screens” and led to more than 200 DVD being purchased after the movie. The success of the project brought a dozen more projects to the company that allowed us to display our ability to create a production with quality and creativity without the professional price that is on time and under budget. CMIC Media has produced, edited, and directed music videos, commercials, live events, shorts, and independent films for local filmmakers and budding professionals all over Ohio. Not only have we been hired to do projects, but also we dedicate ourselves to helping others complete their own projects like in the production of “Best Supporting Daddy” by A Walk On Water Entertainment in spring of 2009 we provided a director of photography, cameraman, production assistant, and editor. Giving back is a must to all of us at CMIC Media.

           For years projects we have produced say nothing about the work we put into them, the hours on the phone raising money to cover the budget, choosing talent for productions, hours spent in scouting locations, days or months spent shooting and editing, and the mountains of legal forms and contracts that we prepare. But it’s all worth it when the client smiles the first time they see their finished project.
