Summary
Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise) is a sports agent who works Sports Management International, a big sports management company. After going through a nervous breakdown, Jerry Maguire writes a mission statement on how to improve his company's business, that is have less clients but pay more attention to them. He is fired because of that he decides to work as an independent sports agent but manages to only keep one of his clients, Arizona Cardinal's wide receiver Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding Jr).
