This is an interesting interrogation scene. Bud White is a tough character and starts off the scene in an aggressive way. He shows little respect for her since she is a hooker and when Lynn Braken mentions Patchett's intentions of bribing him he gets angry. There is subtle flirting in the scene and Bud White is clearly attracted to her. At the end the officer asks her if he can see her again. She asks "are you looking for a date of an appointment? If you are looking for a date I should know your first name..." to which Bud replies "Forget I asked, it was a mistake" and he leaves and the scene ends.
The scene can also be played with 3 characters. At the beginning of the scene when Bud White arrives to her house she is still with a client, a city councilman. The councilman, not knowing he is a cop, tries to brush him off and asks Lynn Braken "everything all right doll? Do you want me to get rid of him" to which Bud White replies "LAPD shitbird, get the fuck out of here or I'll call your wife to come and get you". The councilman picks up his clothes and walks out of the house half naked. Very funny beginning of the scene.
