Summary
The protagonist of the film is Noah, an insurance adjuster who specializes in houses destroyed by fire. He lives in a model home with Hera and has sex with most of his clients. Bubba (Maury Chaykin) is a former homeless man who was rescued by a rich and very eccentric woman, Mini, who invited him to her mansion after meeting him on metro. She has various men dress up as football players as she pretends to be a cheerleader or business men at a conference and has sex with them. She sends Bubba to scout houses to shoot a film. BUBBA: "Why did I choose this house? Well, for the same reasons that you did, I guess. Uh, its'...all alone. It's unto itself. Of course, you thought that...that would be different, that you would have neighbours but you don't, not yet....the person in the film, the person that was supposed to live here is going through a very strange time in their lives. They have everything they want or they have the means to get everything they want but they don't know what they need....so they... try different things and this house is one of them....well...so many places you see, you wouldn't think twice about. They pass through you and then for s....no reason you can see a house and find yourself wondering what is going on inside of those walls. And sometimes, the opportunity comes to find out...it could be um.....an open door that you're passing at night. It could be a quick peek into someone else's family or could be...an invitation to dinner, though that's rare. You have to have friends....and other times you....you would find alternatives...." |
