Ben and Cheston go to a party and Ben notices him eyeing a girl. As he doesn't have the courage to go talk to her, Ben tells him this story that happened to him when he was in college. He tells Cheston he used to be intimidated by girls too and in particular he liked this girl who was in one of his classes, Jennifer Angel. He didn't have the courage to talk to her until one day as he was tending a bar he heard a story from a guy of squash team who had had sex with Jennifer. So there's this one girl who sat in front of me in English Composition. Her name was Jennifer Angel, really. And every day I'd stare at the back of this girl's neck. And once in a while, you know, she'd turn her head......." |
